Step 1: Install the AppDownload the “LookCam” app from the Google Play Store for Android, Apple App Store for iOS, or download the Windows APKFollow the installation instructions to install the app on your device.Step 2: Activate Your CameraCarefully remove the back cover of the camera.Remove the sticker or label from the battery so it is enabled.Slide the on/off switch to 'On'. The camera will now power up.Step 3: Connect to the Camera's Wi-FiWait for about 45 seconds.Open the Wi-Fi settings on your phone.Look for a network starting with 'G' or 'F' (might start with other letters) and connect to it.If you can’t find the network, see the FAQ section at the end of this manual on how to reset the clock.Step 4: Link Camera with Your Home Wi-FiOpen the LookCam app.The app will automatically detect the new camera. Press ‘OK’ to proceed.In the app, it will automatically redirect to the Wi-Fi settings or go to the settings for the camera and select 'Wi-Fi Settings' manually.Choose your home Wi-Fi network. Make sure to select a 2.4GHz network (5GHz is not supported).Enter your Wi-Fi password and press 'OK'. Your camera will now restart and connect to your home Wi-Fi.Step 5: View Your CameraOnce the camera reboots, it will appear online in the ‘My Device’ list in the LookCam app.You can now view live footage from your camera. Important Notes: The default password for the camera is ‘123456’. Change it to secure your device.Format the micro SD card on a computer before installing it in the camera.Ensure the camera is close to your Wi-Fi router for optimal connection.Disable VPN on your smartphone when using the camera.Use only WPA or WPA2 security for your Wi-Fi network.When choosing your home Wi-Fi network. Resetting Your Camera: If the camera's Wi-Fi network doesn't appear or if connection issues persist: Using a small item or pin press and lightly hold the 'reset' button for around 10-15 seconds until the LED lights turn off and back on.Release the button and wait about one minute. The camera will reset.
