To reach out to 100 feet from the VBR base unit. I've heard nothing to stop cables together is not a good idea without knowing if they are rated for something longer. So I went with this hundred foot unit two pack from Tainston. My main concern with any product that was going to buy was that the voltage would stay constant the length of the cable. I was going from 60 feet and nearly doubling this to 100 feet. The above camera DVR system, is powered to the cameras with 12 V, with 2 A. Unfortunately that is not a huge amount of amperage to be traveling that distance if there's any kind of loss in wattage. These cameras are 5MP, which are right at the baseline of what 4K is. These also have night vision and IR, meaning that night the voltage is going to be even more stretch throughout the system as all four cameras have the same options. Having installed the cable to the very end I noticed there was no problems whatsoever having for cameras active on 60 feet of cable that came with and using the 100 foot cable from this company. There is no drop of signal, and the average stayed consistent all the way to the camera itself. There was no way of knowing if this would hold that small amount of Amperage the distance. Because the power supply itself is using 2 A 24 cameras. Meeting in theory you're probably using less than a half an amp to the other three cameras and what's left the other one is drawing. Easily could've had a problem with the voltage was not maintained.I am not going to go in the technical parts of this but I'm going to let you know that it works fine with 2 A. I would highly advise anyone that's looking to use the cables where I have if you're expanding any farther than I have done with this to add a better power supply with a little bit more amps to push. Samsung happens to make many power supplies for their CCTV systems. So I do not think they'll be a problem but when I use the other hundred foot cable and expand my security system. For this review is not about my DVR, it's about these cables. They fit extremely tight on the camera connections and the back of the DVR. Not that that was a problem but there was no slack of any kind.The cables are marked to let you know which side goes to the camera and which one goes to the DVR. You'd be surprised how many people run out 100 foot cable and failed to looked at the connections because they look so similar. No I did not do that, but it's something to be aware of if you never hope these up before is look at the connections they only go one direction.I highly recommend these cables I will be using more in the future to expand my DVR system and security. These cables also see much heavier than my stock people, but had a little bit more flexibility.I will be using this company for all my future table needs. I had seen on many other reviews out through the Internet where cables were sold at a very low price only to find out they would not hold the voltage or signal very well. Even at 2 A these cables held at the full hundred foot distance with no problems whatsoever and were able to hold consistency even with three additional cameras that were at 60 feet. I'm not going to claim that for 100 foot cables could sustain the 2 A. It is not something I tested. However to extend one line out on my system at 2 A was not a problem. I have a secondary cable already extended for the next upgrade. I do not think that my power to longer supply push an additional camera 100 feet I think they'll be asking up a lot from that power supply. But it also lets me know that a simple five amp power supply would be applicable to push the camera system I have. With no problems whatsoever.I'm going to close with a piece of advice, if you're having a problem after installing longer cables to your cameras. And your camera only came with 60 feet of cable keep in mind that even the cheap knockoff DVR camera systems out there may not have the quality, or power supply needed to push the camera out to 100 feet. But I can say that it was able to push out 100 feet, sharing 2 A , with a 12 V power supply and a sustained the power to the cameras. This is going to vary a lot depending on the camera system you have so hopefully will not not the supplier for not having adequate quality to meet these standards. I can see that these cables are designed to hold the initial amperage push through them. But no cable can guarantee an upgrade will be solved by simply extending the cable you may be required to upgrade your power supply to give the extra push needed to the cameras. Whether you choose to use an extra power supply to do so is a decision you should consult the electrician or professional CCTV installer.
