I just received it and immediately attached it to my fringe bag-- and it is just perfect! I just love it! First of all, the strap is NOT canvas, and is actually stitched with another layer of fabric. When the strap isn't opened all the way up, it actually doubles in thickness. I measured the thickness of the strap doubled, and it is about 3/16" thick. The colors of the red roses are rich and vibrant and resembles a tapestry. It's gorgeous and just what I wanted. (Oh and the gold clasps and buckle are a plus!)
