The material seems ok, smells like leather at least. But the main problem is it can't be adjusted for length. I've never run into one that can't, but here it is. The instruction page shows 2 plastic clips that can be used to do so but they're not included in the package.I shoot with Barnack Leicas (and copies) and it is a perfect strap. I've got the brown/brown and even though the pad has a pebble grain and the strap is smooth and the colors are slightly different, it looks great and is quite sturdy.The Barnacks weigh about 1.5 lbs; if you have a heavier camera, please note the pad is not wide and you may want a different strap with a wider strap.I do like this camera strap overall, but two things bother me:1. The strap color is not the same as the color of the neck padding. The strap is darker and the padding is a lighter color and in my opinion, they don't blend together well.2. It's a bit stiff. Maybe it just needs breaking in, but it doesn't really bend as easily as I had hoped.Overall, it's a good strap and I like the look of it. I would just suggest that the color situation be adjusted.Very impressed with this strap for the price. Understated branding. Looks fantastic with classic SLRs and mirrorless digital. I’ve used this strap with both...but mostly with my Fujifilm X-T1 which I carry daily. I have also used the version of this strap without the extra shoulder pad. But I prefer this one. I don’t recommend this strap for someone carrying larger DSLRs with longer lenses. If you’re the type who’s normally out with a classic SLR setup (ie typical body & 50mm lens) and you want a great looking basic strap this is for you.I just received my 2nd CANPIS strap. I use one on my Leica M6 and just purchased this one for my Fujifilm x100t. Stylish and more comfortable around my neck than factory issued straps for those 2 cameras. This strap is well made with beautiful stitching. I highly recommend this item.Great looking and well made with thick, solid leather but mine came in two colors. The shoulder pad is nice, warm shade of brown where the strap is reddish brown. The difference is very noticeable and I don’t like it. I would be ok with either color as long as both pieces were the same. Too bad because its a really nice piece, I’m returning it.Perfect! Beautiful leather workmanship ! This is extremely high quality and will last a lifetime!Quality leather but stiff and unwieldy. Thin strap.
