After trying several different types of monitors, I really wanted one that I could access when not at home.This does the job. Setup is fairly simple. I especially like how you can twist/tie it to things without having to buy adapters, like you do for different brands.It does require WiFi to work; so if you have spotty internet service, you might want to get a different type.I am glad that I purchased this camera. It works really well, I've been using it for a few months now and had no issues.It always has to be plugged in order to work.You can turn off the blue light by going to Settings - Basic Function - Network indicator.The red light is for the night vision so you can't turn it off.I like that there's a temperature and humidity indicator. Also it has Intercome but it scares my baby.Overall, good camera and if you're looking for something cheaper and don't need all the fancy features.The app is goodCamera is goodServes its purposeOnly thing I don’t like is that when you open the app, there is a flashing light on the camera and it makes baby stare at it. There is also a light on it that’s too distractingHave been using this for months and it works really well - great value for money as it’s much cheaper than the lollipop and other baby monitors. Night vision is great, alerts work perfectly and can be adjusted for sensitivity. Easy to setup and can share access to the camera with other family members.It’s really made a difference for us whilst sleep training our baby! We can access the cam when we’re out and have someone babysitting.There is a blue light that turns on which I found annoying but then found out you can easily turn it off by turning off the service indicator option in settings.Highly recommend!!We were hesitating to purchase a baby monitor as they seems to be quite expensive and we are not sure how useful they would be. A friend from Canada has one of this and recommended to us, I found the price quite affordable, decided to try it out.Its very simple to set up, just plug to USB power, download an app and all good to go. I was totally surprised that how this little camera can do! I can see him on my phone when I am at work, or at shopping, anywhere there is internet connection. One camera can only pair with one account, however I can share the video with all other family members, which means my husband and my elder daughter can also watch him whenever they want, even if my APP is turned off.To control my mobile data, I set the video at lowest resolution, but it's still clear enough for me to see everything happening at home. I just left the live video on when I am working, it can keep running for hours. there is also handy features like Intercom, Temperature and Humidity reading. There are other features like motion detection and album etc I haven't been using yet., but so far what I have got is beyond my expectation for such a small and inexpensive monitor.I recommend this for anyone who is after an easy use smart monitor for whatever reason.Great value for money, best Amazon purchase ever.Bought this to use as baby monitor with the idea that it’ll be attached to the cot rail thanks to the bendy handle. Well, that didn’t really eventuate that way because the bendable part is too short for anything. Being too short it also doesn’t have enough leverage to counter balance the actual camera head which is heavier and so doesn’t stay upright.I must say that the quality of the image and the night vision are great for what we need. Night vision is very clear with virtually no lag. The camera does, however, have a visible IR light as well as a constant flashing blue light when in use - this can be annoying for a sleeping baby.Wifi connection can be hit and miss, it has lost connection quite a few times but has recovered most times.Unfortunately, the camera stopped working after 5 months, it just wouldn’t stay on or keeps rebooting constantly, hence only 3 stars.
