Best trail camera hands down for the price and I've owned many. I have about 10 trail cameras top name brands like Moultrie, Muddy, Wildgame, Stealth cam, Reconyx, blah blah blah you name the whole shabang and a bunch of other Chinese knock offs like "HAWKEYE" from Amazon that I've had to throw away over the years.....but this one has me surprised. I purchased both the E5 and another non-wifi version in 20 mega pixel quality that is a 2021 version and both are better than all those that I have even those at a similar price from Dicks or Tractor supply. The quality is VERY good when you put it at max quality even at night. It can take a combination of Videos (5 or 10 sec.) and Photos. I've had the camera out for 1month and have had over 3000 photos and videos combined and not one little bar of battery has gone away, it is still fully charged. The other brands especially that HAWKEYE brand that I purchased on Amazon by now would have a lower battery because they are so battery demanding for absolutely no reason, not to mention it got water within a month and I had to throw that one away. This GardePro doesn't even get fog on the lenses...it's incredible. The other exceptional thing I love from this camera is the simple ease of use. It has a very good display and interface that is not too fancy and gets the job done. I have a little lock on it plus the camera itself is programmed with a 4 digit code so no one can touch the settings. The best part of it all is you just slide the button to off, do a SD swap and slide it back to ON and press start. That's it. Good to go again. You have a 30 sec. or 20 sec delay until your camera starts to take pics and videos again. The battery level is very easily displayed in the bottom corner. If you don't like overcomplicated trail cameras then this is a very good camera and the quality is not any different than those $100 plus. PLUS you won't have to spend another $100 in batteries to keep it running like those remote cellular Moultrie cameras that it's sole purpose is to not have to go get the SD card yet you still have go replace the batteries every couple weeks because the cellular plan drains the battery. It's a joke. Stick to this one. It's a winner in my book. Those who say otherwise about this camera still need some time to experience how worse the other cameras are.Ok, right off the bat, this is probably one of the most reasonably priced trail cams in its category. My kid has the same one that he has posted out by his large 1 acre garden. He is able to connect with his cam from his bedroom window which is at least 65-70 yds away amd convinced me to give this a try. I can tell you honestly that I cannot get anywhere near that range from my camera. 25 yds at best for me. This may be ok for some as you still don't have to walk out to the cam to pull a chip and foul up the area in the process. I tried moving the cam to another area where I had a straight view of it from an upstairs window and a clear view to the antena. At 45 yds I was still unable to connect. I had given some thought to purchasing a cell camera, but for the money, I believe that I would be better off buying a higher quality wifi camera and save the expenses of a cell plan in the long run over the years. As far as setup and use, it's pretty straightforward but seems to be a bit finicky at times. Honestly, pulling an SD card is just so much simpler IMO, and much easier/quicker to download onto a laptop. We have all sorts of critters coming through the yard at night. This camera does a good job of catching everything that moves, both night and day.The camera is nice enough. The picture quality is good. Unfortunately for my purposes it isn’t great. I wanted to watch the owl house I had put up. There is no way to zoom in the focus on this other than to move the camera closer. There’s no way for me to get it closer than about 20 feet from the house. The sight range is pretty big so any branch blowing in the wind seems to trigger it giving me tons of images of moving trees but no critters. I like the camera and I may move it to watch the critters in the yard instead. My only problem is sometimes it has trouble connecting to the iPad through the app and it takes a few tries. Other than that it’s a decent trail camera.I rated a 3-star, but I will admit that might be some user error involved too. The picture quality is awesome 24 hrs a day. Clear pics and video at least 150' out, I was very impressed with that. Other cams I've seen the night pics are a quite grainy. If you want a camera that takes great pics, this one is a very good one. I did have a coupe issues: motion detection, I tried every level of detection and I could only get it to detect something within about 20 feet and only when I walked by it. Plenty of deer walking slowly but would not trip the motion sensor. However, wind blowing 20+ MPH would set it off all day long but nothing on but leaves going by. The other issue was connecting to the camera, I usually had to be within about 15' and even then was sketchy at times. I could have missed something in setup, but am not a novice in this kind of setup. If I could have got passed these 2 issues I'd still have the camera, nor will I rule out buying one in the future. Its a fine product for the price. But, it takes 25 to 45 seconds for the Bluetooth and then Wi-Fi connections to be made to the phone. Even of you are standing right beside the unit. But, once connected it is easy to download the pictures and delete any unneeded video/pics from the memory card.I put lithium batteries in and they have been running for over 3 weeks here in Rhode Island at winter temperatures pretty much in the 20's and 30's.If they could fix the "buggy"/slow connection process this would be a 5 star item.
