Personally I love my sling, it holds 1-3 cameras, 1-3 lenses, a portable charger, SD card case, more batteries then I need to bring with me, and anything else I’d need with me on the go in a compact bag. Unfortunately it does have a few small things holding it back.Pros:-holds way more then you think it will-durable and comfortable materials-comes with a rain cover-perfect for traveling-hidden pockets are the perfect size for a large camera battery-doesn’t stand out like a lot of slings/bags do-peak design capture clip can be comfortably attached to the strap and you can wear even a heavy DSLR pretty comfortably if it’s riding lower downCons:-as a left handed user I wear my sling the opposite way a right handed person would, and in turn the sling is backwards when I turn it around to grab my gear, meaning I need to get it down on the ground or wear it in a way that feels unnatural to me in order to change lenses or grab a fresh battery. (If there was a version designed for left handed users it’d be perfect for me and an instant 5 stars even if it was $150)-shoulder “pad” isn’t very well padded and slips down, could totally be improved, especially since it’s a $100 sling-buckle is plastic and doesn’t appear to be easily replaceable, most probable failure pointAll in all, awesome edc sling, I’ll probably end up buying the mini version over the winter going into spring since my current camera is much smaller then the one I intended to carry around and don’t need as much space anymore.I wanted a travel sling to carry just one camera lens combo, preferably my Canon EOS R w/ 24mm-105mm f/4L IS USM lens. All the reviews and feedback I’ve seen, people say the mini is too small. I’m here to tell you it’s not, the Mini pairs perfectly with the EOS R & 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens. The regular pack fits my EOS R & Canon RF100-500mm F4.5-7.1 L IS USM lens plus more.If you’re looking to be a tourist Tom with your equipment while carrying minimal. The mini is your bread and butter. The bag is really nice, and exactly what I was looking for in terms of a small bag to fit my camera and an extra lens. The camera is a Sony a6000 with a Sigma 18-50mm DC DN Contemporary lens. The extra lens is a Sony 55-210mm kit lens.As you can see in my photos, I can also fit 3 extra batteries and some cleaning tools with some room still left over for my phone in the front sleeve and whatever else I need to carry. My only complaint so far is that I ordered the Glacier Camo design expecting it to be mostly gray, with maybe a hint of blue. However, if you look at the first picture, you can clearly see a hint of green. This green is even more pronounced out in the sun. When I saw this, I had to double check my order to make sure I didn't order the regular camo bag. But as far as I can tell (by the red label on the front), this is supposed to be the Glacier Camo version.Bought the mini version of the bag with the purpose of carrying a few extra accessories when doing street photography. This bag is great for when a backpack is just too much. The design and the materials of the bag are great! Comparable to my manfrotto backpack but some aspects better. Currently I carry in the mini version: flash, extra lens, a few batteries and cables while leaving my camera in hand.Pros:Good qualityUnique styleProfessionalGreat for a minimalist, street photographerCons:The strap needs to be a little longer and is not removable. Would prefer a removable strap connected on d rings like the old tamerac bags. The buckle scares me but I haven’t had any issues with it yet.Great bag for the price overall, excited to try the larger version down the roadI bought this bag specifically to carry my Canon R5 or R3 w/ 100-500 attached while hiking. I was attracted to it's unique form factor that lends itself to a long hike by not getting in the way or adding too much weight. It makes it easy to carry and access your camera on the trail. Unfortunately, this was not to be in my case. While this bag will barely hold the R5 with 100-500 attached (including hood) , the R3 doesn't fit at all with any lens -- attached or not. If the bag was an inch longer and a couple inches wider maybe. That should give you an idea of the interior space - it's spacious for a small body, but forget about bigger ones.I did not use this bag -- returned it moments after I recieved it. But here are a few impressions it made on me. That bag desgin itself is excellent. I loved the camo fabric, it would have been perfect for hikes. The fabric is typical ripstop nylon and seems durable. The zippers though are the weak link. I found them "sticky" & stubborn, unable to move fluidly like zippers on Peak Design bags do. That's a problem because when I need to pull my camera out quickly every second counts. That cardinal will just mock me as it flies away. The strap is another sore point. While its adjustable, it's just the "old school" style where you have to pull out slack here and tug there to tighten. That's OK for a discount bag. But premium bags, again like Peak Design should have a quick adjust "friction doubler" strap where it's and easy lift and pull or push. That gets to the price. $100 is a bit steep for a bag this size with no real premium features. I might have been tempted to keep the bag just to use with the R5 if it was around $65 or even the $100 I paid if it had been slightly bigger and had a decent zipper and strap. Perhaps Hex is comparing this bag to the Chrome Kadet, which is similar in size. But that bag too is overpriced for what it is. That's a $40 bag at best as it has zero padding or structure at all, basically paying for a label. Hopefully we'll see improvements in Hex's next version. If they make these upgrades I'll take another look for sure.really good looking bag but it’s flimsy and thin. The dividers it comes with are cheap feeling as well as the zippers, they’re consistently getting stuck around the edges and it’s a struggle to pull a camera in and out.I suggest going for something a lot more durable.Specially at this price point.I have owned about 2 or 3 of theses in the past. They tend to run forever.Found it again recently and bought it. It's perfect. Inexpensive, light and unobtrusive.
