To save you from reading this long review: don’t buy this camera. Doesn’t work properly for the cost. After seeing so many tik toks about this camera, I decided to buy one. I was so excited because I’ve been looking for a camera that give the vintage film look but disposable cameras are too expensive and not worth the cost, in my opinion. So I bought it. I was really excited to use it and bought it so I could take it to Disneyland. So I did. I went and I took a lot of photos, because I’m a photographer and haven’t been able to really experiment and play around with a film camera. I was super excited to see the results. So right when I got home, I put the SD card into my camera with built in wifi to get my photos. Except none of the photos showed up. They weren’t anywhere on the SD card. I tried to plug the SD card into an adapter that send the photos right to my phone. I now saw about five of the photos I took that day. I was so confused because I KNOW I took way more than five. I then tried to get the photos off my computer to my phone. It was the same problem. None of the photos were showing up. So I searched and searched on the internet as to why my pictures weren’t showing up. I even looked at the Papershoot website. I noticed that the website says to use SD cards under 32GB. The manual the camera comes with says an SD card under 218GB, or something like that. So I thought maybe that was it. I had been using an SD card that’s 64GB. So I went to Target and bought a 32GB card. Surely this will work. For the most part it did. I took the camera out and took a lot of photos again and when I returned home I once again put the SD card into my camera to transfer the photos. Most of the photos showed up, but there were a few that wouldn’t show up. I know the pictures were there bc my camera said “image not found” I was ok with this, I could live without a few pictures. So I continued to use it, and took it to the aquarium. I took a lot of photos that day. When I went home, only about 15-20 pictures showed up. I could see the other photos, but they wouldn’t save to my phone. And on my camera the photos would just say “image not found”. This made me upset. I took the camera out a few days later and made sure I was taking two photos of the same thing, because that way maybe just one would show up, right? I was wrong again. Out of maybe the 75-90 photos I took with my friends only 14 showed up. I was so pissed. Still am, actually. I took so many cute photos with them on the camera and I could only see a fraction of them. I thought this was a one time issue, or just an accident, maybe I wasn’t actually taking the photos? So I took the camera out again, making sure I heard the shutter click and the lights go on, so I knew I was taking the photos. I went again to download the pictures to my phone, and once again none of the photos were there. This time, I could see the images, but I couldn’t SEE them. On my camera it says, “image not found”. Again. Now at this point I’ve tried everything. And I’m very upset and disappointed. Id understand if this was a one time issue but it’s not. It’s pretty clear this camera is not worth the money, no matter what tik tok tells you. I’ve contacted customer service and waiting to heard back from them.I had been wanting this camera for a long time and I finally got it. I have to say, it is definitely worth it for me. The photos look exactly like film, but you get to take as many as you want and don't have to wait/pay for them to get developed. It's really thin and lightweight, but probably easy to damage especially with water since the case is just cardboard and the camera is exposed on the sides. Overall, really glad I finally got this camera and would totally recommend itI will say that the seller sent me the wrong case design - I ended up keeping the one i got but i ordered a different one.If you're looking to photograph super high resolution, color accurate photos, then this is not for you.The photos are washed out and grainy but they're supposed to be!This camera is designed to simulate older, cheap, film cameras and is all about the nostalgia. At that it does really well. It's super light, has three picture modes and can even shoot 1080p video (with an addition).. there's also something fun about putting together your own little camera too. ;)If you're looking for the nostalgia, or the 80s photo style then go for it.If you're looking to snap some super high resolution photos, then don't.I have always loved using film, but getting it developed is time consuming and expensive. This camera is perfect for me so I get the look of film but none of the hassle. It's easy to setup and use. I would definitely recommend this to people who are like me!For anyone who loves the look of film but hates the hassle/cost, this is for you. I absolutely love the look, and there’s 4 different color options to choose from. I love the simplicity of it- just point and shoot. And the anticipation of waiting to upload and look at the pictures…priceless. With a 128gb card, you’re looking at around 25,200 pictures, give or take. Be sure to get those rechargeable aaa batteries! The pros:It's cute, it's different, it's easy to carry around. The cons:- Picture quality: by no stretch of the imagination was I expecting crystal clear photos or something to replace my phone, I at least thought I would get images that were similar to a disposable camera. Instead, the photos are extremely lack luster. Even with excellent lighting the photos look washed out, grainy and anything but lomo. These photos look like what my 1st gen iPhone captured in 2007. I believe the technology is purposefully the same in the Paper Shoot to emulate the "vintage" look.- Capturing photos: so, you required to hold down the shutter button to capture a photo. At that time, a light blue light will go off in the view finder and you will hear the shutter "click" sound. Why oh why do we need to hold the camera in place for 3-4 seconds to capture a single image? About 30% of the time, the shutter won't even trigger and I will have to keep trying to take the same photo over and over.-The price: while I appreciate the eco-friendliness this has, I find it hard to justify the price. If the camera gave better photos or at least photos that were more like that of a disposable camera I might let the price slide. In addition to the $120 you pay for this, you still have to purchase a memory card and batteries.I am a hobbyist photographer. I am by no means a professional or highly skilled. However, I have and use vintage 35mm film cameras, Polaroids, every Fujifilm instax model, Kodak/Fujifilm disposables. While I understand the difference between those cameras and the Paper Shoot, I'd much rather wait to have my photos developed and get better quality images than the digital lackluster images from Paper Shoot.Just received it and i looove the photo quality!! So happy i finally decided to buy.I was a bit skeptical about this product, because I had seen it on tik tok and thought you could only buy it off the official website. But I was in a time crunch to buy it for someone's birthday and couldn't wait the 2-3 weeks, so I found it on Amazon and hoped for the best. It is the camera from tik tok, it takes good quality pictures, has multiple photo filters on the camera, and is super cute!Compré este producto como un regalo pero nunca funcionó. Probé con diferentes tarjetas de memoria y siempre marcó error al tomar las fotos. Me parecía un diseño interesante, práctico y atractivo, pero no cumplió como esperaba.Same as the previous review, I was in a rush and needed to purchase this from Amazon in order to receive it asap . Was abit worried since there’s only one other review but it’s in fact a Papershoot in brand new packaging and works great. I love this camera so much! It takes some getting used to but it’s seriously so special. I love the disposable film type of quick photo aspect without seeing them, and looking at them later is great! It’s just all around such an awesome invention.Es una cámara bastante fácil de manipular, me agrada el reto de no ver lo que tomé y las fotos que tomo siempre son una sorpresa al final. Creo que lo negativo de esta cámara es la carcasa se mancha con facilidad y si se llega a mojar... Bye, bye.
