Here comes another found footage/mockumentary offering to grace the small screen. This one whisks us off to the picturesque Tibetan wilderness as a small band of four documentary makers set out to film a rare snow leopard thought to be roaming the area and killing local livestock. But of course the inevitable happens and the crew end up becoming the hunted... but hunted by what?And that's the question you'll be wondering to yourself for the majority of the runtime - just what is lurking in the forest making those peculiar animalistic noises and spooking those deer? Because apart from a brief second glimpse at the end you're left with nothing to visually feed on and to some viewers that may make for a frustrating watch, but for others what you don't see adds to the scare factor as your imagination is left to project an image of the unseen predator. Despite the lack of screen time the perpetrator receives the film does still end up being mildly scary at times, particularly during the last half as the suspense and tension mounts and the realization kicks in that maybe this is no leopard lurking around the woods. And what a gorgeous location to plot up and choose to make your new hunting ground! There's some stunning scenery on show in this one to feast the eyes on, which is just as well because aside from the pretty female cast member there's little to excite the eyes in terms of gore or the camera shy 'beast'.All in all though its a very competently made little addition to the found footage genre, better than your average for sure. Acting by all four cast members is solid, the movie is effectively shot and edited and the location worked well in its favour. But the lack of thrills and any solid scares lessened the impact of the movie overall, which was a bit of a shame. Still, there's enough good going for it to earn a recommendation from me, particularly to fans of this genre.
