The quality of these sandals are unbelievable! Everything from the premium leather, to the excellent stitching, to the thoughtful design, is top notch. The quality is such that will allow you to get them repaired, at any cobbler, should the need ever arise. And if you're like me, and take good care of your leather shoes, they will maintain their stylish appearance indefinitely. My feet are a size 11D, but my toes have a bit of spread to them, so I usually opt for for 11E (wide) or 12D. These sandals are a proper 11D at the ball of the foot, yet have ample space at the toes. The leather strap at the front of the sandals is not so far forward that they will irritate the top of the foot while walking (this has been an issue I've struggled with when wearing other hand made sandals), and the back leather strap is far enough back to keep your heal in contact, or close proximity, to the inner sole of the sandal while walking; this limits the outer soul from dragging, or making a fliploppy sound, when walking. All I can say is that these are the best sandals I've ever owned, and I just snapped up some other styles, in other colors, so that I won't ever need to buy any other sandals ever again.
