Works really well in a 2007 Toyota RAV4 and an aftermarket Android head unit once installed but the installation is NOT straightforward. Here are the issues:* the original license plate light is inserted at 45 degree angle, this one is inserted straight up. There isn't enough space for the license plate light connector if it is inserted straightup, you'll have to modify it.* the original license plate light will not fit into the hole either. You'll need to cut 4 notches in the camera's plastic as well.* the adjustable camera version sticks out way too much once installed so it will be catching anything and everything. The automated car washes will be catching on your camera and ripping the entire thing out of its socket. Get the non-adjustable version instead as it sits quite flush with the light itself and doesn't catch things as easily as this version.* the little screws holding the camera at the angle begin to rust almost immediately. Once again, get the non-adjustable version since it doesn't have the screws that are so visible and so exposed to the weather.The good news is that the image quality is really good and it looks very professional but the cons outweight the pros in my opinion unless you get the non-adjustable version.
